Claudio Ojeda brings a curious monkey to life in alebrije form. He carves it from copal wood and hand-paints it with a kaleidoscope of geometric patterns in teal, purple, saffron yellow, melon pink. The tail is removable for safe and easy shipping.

The Mexican artisan learned to craft alebrijes as a young child from his mother. His work still embodies her motto – bring the alebrijes to life by painting them with love and care.
