In the times of the ancient Inca Empire, Peruvian dogs were a symbol of status and wealth, as their unique appearance made many believe these protective puppies had a connection with the spiritual world. Nowadays, they are famous guardians and companions, becoming cultural icons and inspiring the Andean Treasures Market’s newest ceramic figurine. This sublime piece is hand-painted on a red base hue that enhances the floral motifs around the artwork, typical of the Andean worldview.
