Armenian households decorate their entrances with a powerful talisman believed to attract positive energies while protecting the house from evil forces. Called Daghdghan, these ancient amulets of good fortune are the main inspiration for Shahe Harutyunyan’s newest collection. Working with ceramic, the artisan crafts this cultural ornament in a green glaze associated with renewal, enriching the natural clay geometric details all around the design. In addition, a jute cord suspends two charms and serves as the cord for hanging the ornament anywhere in your home.
