An icon of southern Mexico’s diverse flying fauna, the quetzal makes a prominent appearance on this handcrafted bookmark from the Mendez family. Husband and wife artisans, Pablo and Lucy create this quetzal-inspired bookmark with meticulously perfected crafting techniques, always investing their hearts into the art from the initial design stage to the final stroke of the paintbrush. Composed to last as long as the traditions it represents, this bookmark comes from a single piece of native copal wood, replenished by the Mendez family plantation of copal trees.
