The traditional melodies of the tanbur take over the streets of Tajikistan in festivals and traditional ceremonies, reviving the ancient magnificence of the Silk Road. As an homage to the classic rhythms that often accompany the history of these beautiful lands, artisan Kodir Egamov handcrafts an enchanting pine and birch wood figurine portraying a lady in traditional green garments, playing the elegant sound of the tanbur.
