These delightful figurines make a cheerful addition to brighten any room. Hand-carved of local albesia wood, the figurines depict a farmer couple, their characteristic forms and solid colors reflecting the couple’s agrarian lifestyle. Wayan Cidra creates the pair, working with Bali’s Bhakti Senang Hati, dedicated to providing work for people with disabilities. Wayan lives with polio and says, ‘Although I’ve struggled with my handicapped condition, I amuse myself making my products, and hopefully my products can make people happier.’
