Handcrafted of natural pine needles, this pair of round trivets is designed by Nicaragua’s Tamara Pereira. She weaves each coiled trivet by hand, accenting them with acrylic thread in turquoise that forms star patterns. Says Pereira, ‘The art of Nicaraguan basketry is a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. I love being able to create useful pieces for the home.’
