The blending of baroque Spanish and pre-Hispanic motifs in Peru yielded designs of exquisite beauty. Flora Polo shows their influence in a beautiful mirror with golden accents. Painted by hand, the scarlet designs are created on the reverse side of glass panes, giving them a wonderful clarity of color, and set into a wooden frame
